AlphaRev X - Make it your phoneAlphaRev X - Make it your phone
Just working on that. I'm seeing some .dll issues with Windows users. Tracking to see what is going on.
Sorry, didn't mean to jump the gun. They say the dll issue is fixed.
Just delete this thread jkhonea.......sorry.
Cool, I'll be doing this over the weekend, I imagine. I'm installing the Android SDK now. Really should have done it before.
I just ordered an xtc clip 2 days ago...lol oh well....
Hah! Same here! At least we're in the same boat. LOL
I just may go ahead with Alpharev because if anything did happen you can go back to s-on. The clip is a one way street, although I don't know why I would want to. What are your thoughts?
I'm going the Alpharev route as well. Like you, I don't know why I would reverse it, but it's nice to know the option is there if necessary.
Yeah, me too.
Btw, it looks like a few people over at xda that are on Win7-64bit are getting stuck waiting for fastboot trying this. May want to keep an eye on it:
S-OFF Achieved for Permanent Root (AlphaRev Team) - Page 9 - xda-developers
I saw that. I've got 32 bit Windows so there's a good chance this is a 64 bit problem. Trying on mine now.
Any luck? I'm at work and hopefully it will be working by 7am.
No luck yet. Linux installs are going great, no go with Windows.
