Several days ago the Sprint Note 7 was rooted, but thanks to some trickery by the dev community we now have a root method for all carrier versions of the Note 7. Fortunately this does not rely on an engineering boot and is actually stable. The root method for the S7 and S7 Edge Snapdragon versions required this engineering boot which caused the phone to lag, overheat and killed the battery. This root method is not that.

To get your phone rooted you will have to flash the prerooted Sprint build to your device. If you phone is a carrier version other than Sprint you will also need to flash your carrier's radio files. This is done through ODIN. Once the system and radios are flashed you will need to flash antother file through ADB. The full instructions and downloads can be found at the link below.
