all text messages just got deleted

yep this happened to me once a couple weeks ago. Not a huge deal, but I still like keeping all my old texts around just in case.

My issue with texts being deleted is my handcent resets itself and I have to customize everyone all over again. lol I have my contacts color coded, the led light customized and of course, the ringtones. it sucks to have to do THAT all over again.
