all over again

    i just got my replacement droid since it was accidentley dropped into water and broke. now im back to square one with rooting. ive tried following steps for rooting with 2.1 installed since that what the new droid came with and i have spr recovery installed. i just need the file and instruction on how to root it so i can get roms again. hopefully someone can help id appreciate it

    Flash the 2.0.1 sbf file -- 2.1 can not be rooted.

    Yes, it can.

    If you grab a copy of Froyo it will root your Droid for you so you don't have to go back to 2.0.1 There is a new version that just came out yesterday, look in our news section for it.
