All my contacts appeared in favorites, how can I fix it?

All my contacts are appearing in the favorite section, I could unmark them one by one but I got more than 600, I dont know why it happened, could it be related to google account or something like that?

My wife's maxx did this, then it wouldn't accept any changes she made to the pull down of her quick contacts. Try a simulated battery pull.... hold power and volume down at the same time, keep them held down until the phone powers off, it will power itself back on.

Hers didn't respond to this... she had to do a factory reset.. hope your luck is different.. good luck
