After root, 32gig Micro SD has software write protection on it...how to remove it?

    My 32 MicroSD card is unformatable. After I did my root, and applied the SD fix for write failure it never worked since... I can't format it, either the phone or PC... and no the write protect switch is not enabled...

    Does anyone have a utility that can fix my 32gig card??

    LOL... I can't write anything to the drive... Its software write protected... Make a windows utility to remove it, and i'm set

    i know what the issue is lol, flash the file i sent and it will be fixed :)

    ok try this, download "root explorer" from the market, find the sdcard folder, long press and a menu will come up, select "permissions" and see if it will let you change it to "r/w"
    if not go one folder up and change that to r/w then try to change the sd folder again. if it works put the file on the card then change the parent folder above the sd back to r only (if it was that before, only change permissions back that you had to change, except for the sd leave that r/w)

    If you have Mac access I have found disk utility to be able to fix most problems, even on windows formatted drives.
