After 6 months, the D3 is end of life by Verizon

    EOL means that they are no longer stocked/sold. Doesn't necessarily mean it won't see updates. Even the article that you posted says as much. That being said I wouldn't be shocked if the D3 doesn't get ICS. Just bcuz I can see Motorola trying to get people to buy the D4. Hopefully this isn't the case but I quess we will see soon enough.
