I have the Advanced Task Manager and when I select "End All" under Applications, it closes them all out without a problem. But a few minutes later I'll go back into it and they'll all be there again. Anyone else have this problem or know what I can do about it??

Welcome to the Forum Smart1. From everything I have read over the years, task killer apps on Android phones are bad news, and can actually kill the battery faster. Android does a good job of killing tasks & processes not needed so new ones can be opened. And it needs some things open all the time, so that's probably why you see certain things come right back after "End All". If you search around here you will find some in depth threads and posts related to why task killers are not good for Android. I think a few we're written by an expert former member (FoxKat).

I haven't used one since 2013, when I first joined this Forum and read posts about how they were actually killing my battery and not helping it. The posts on here about Task Killers was one of the reasons I first came to this forum.

in spite of all the task killers, task managers, as I said in another post, you still will not be able to kill all tasks and keep them dead until needed.

the thing is, it is the task killer that is running in the background taking up resources, not really the tasks themselves. most tasks takes next to nothing in resources and power until you are actually using them.

Nope, correct thread. I meant "joy" sarcastically that some manufacturers are adding Task Managers / Task Killers to their phones. Until they come in stock Android, I personally don't feel they are necessary.

Sammy's comes with them stock. My Tab, wife's Tab, and her S8 all came with them.
