I quite accidentally stumbled across this in the Market. It appears to have just come out today. At least I think it did. :)

is this better (given the pinch to zoom would be far better) than using pdf viewer in docs to go?

I just downloaded a .pdf file and it worked just fine. I can't tell you how it compares to documents to go. If you have Documents to Go, download it, see if you like it then either keep it or delete it.

Seems to be faster viewing than the built in reader on the Moto Droid and PDF to Go

Built in reader? If there was a built in reader it never read a document for me. I tried just last night to download a .pdf document and it said it could not open this type of file. Went to the same place just now and it gave me Adobe as an option.

Well, I saw that come up as an option when I downloaded Adobe today, but it didn't come up when I last tried. The reason I even tried was because I thought there was an app that would read the .pdf files.

OK, I just used the Quick Office and it can't touch the Adobe Reader. No pinch and zoom. I couldn't even read the document I downloaded.

This version does not include the search functionality within a pdf document or can it handle password protected docs.

I have been trying the new Adobe PDF Reader for about an hour. I received a tweet about it.

I can open pdf files from a file manager, the download manager, email attachments, and from inside web pages. There does not seem to be an 'Open' function from the Acrobat Reader menu.

This one kinda slipped under the radar. I ran across it over on Droid Life.

It works well so far, and the rendering speed is very acceptable. Definitely glad I didn't purchase beamreader or that other pdf reader

Quick Office works fine for .PDFs, albeit, it renders a little slow and has no cache..

Adobe reader is a little faster, and has pinch zoom..
