So, i wanted to see if i could find a brightness adjustment app in the marke that would allow me to get my screen dimmer than the stock dimness. I found this app call AdjBrightness. It requires root, which i have. I was able to make the screen a little dimmer with it ( in hopes to save battery life) , but the only thing i dont like about it is when i lock the phone, the screen goes black like it always/should do, but then like a backlight will come on the screen and stay on. This backlight is very very dim, but its stil there and noticable, so i was wondering if anybody else has some experience with this app, or if this has happened to anyone else.
