    Those kind of batteries are tricky business. Sometimes they work great, and others times they royally mess up the phone.

    If it's going to look like it's pregnant, it's okay, since my DROID X looks pregnant too with its 3500 battery. :)

    Well the issue is the quality of those batteries, they are pure junk. Most times they drain just as fast as the stock standard battery.

    I have the oem extended battery and it is pretty impressive. Id say i get about 30% more juice out of it over the standard bat, which is a significant gain.

    I must agree with bionic_racer. I bought one of those cheap batteries with a wall charger. The charger was good, but the battery sucked. It gave me less than 3 hours of STAND BY. Buy an oem extended from the phone manufacturer. It's worth the extra few dollars.

    Well Im getting an extended battery pretty soon got my bionic. Which brand/motel would you recommend?

    I have been pleased with the oem extended battery. It doesn't make the phone too bulky and adds signficant charge time.

    Original battery is about 1730 or 1760 or so mAh, if I recall correctly.
