Original battery is about 1730 or 1760 or so mAh, if I recall correctly.

I have had absolutely no hitches as far as performance w/the new one, though I did install a battery calibration app in which u charge the new battery to 100% then use the app to calibrate the new settings. That really helps out btw. The back and cover are quite a bit larger to me, but personally I appreciate the extra heft and thickness because it allows the phone to sit in the "pocket" of my hand much better. If u have larger than normal hands, u'll agree w/me.
