ok links in last post should work now
think you should start with drivers
    start>control panel>hardware & sound>devices & printers>device manager
    and look for
    View attachment 64252
if you see that you need drivers

    if you see

    View attachment 64253
    drivers should be ok

    download from here Droid-Developers SBF
verify Verify that your download is complete with MD5/SHA-1 Hash Checksums
    check the windows device manager
    use RSD Lite 5.7 or 6.1.4 -Dev_Host
you don't have to unzip firmware if they end in 'xml.zip'

you can flash a boot.img, with moto-fastboot.exe, on the DX2, D3, and D4... as long as its the official one from the update or an xml

are you using original motorola usb data cable?
may need a different one, or try a different
usb port, if desktop try rear ports rather than front
    or a different pc

added if you just get a light or nothing. don't bother it's not charging

    should be getting closer
does phone boot to charging screen when connected to wall charger?
if so charge battery before flashing, if you just get a light or nothing. don't bother it's not charging

if not and battery is too low, phone will not allow flashing, and you will need a
Motorola Programing Adaptor by Team Black Hat

So now I have a new problem. I got my phone to boot and everything but now its forcing me to go through the Setup wizard starting from language selection. It says I can skip steps but I can't get past the first page with the sync now stuff. How can I get rid of this and get to my phone?
