How did you decide on one over the other?
The best way that I have found is that I tend to follow the lead or recommendation of the ROM builder I use. I figure they have worked with kernel and their version of the ROM so it should be inherently stable. But I have had good luck with both
ive used both, but im using adamz currently. there both good developers! its all up to u
The chip in the droid can be finicky so you should try both IMO
1. Try both.
2. Compare temps and speed
3. Choose the one that worked better for your phone.
personally chevy's run a lot cooler for me, but whatever you like better
Interesting replies. Thanks.
I've used them both at one time or another.
I see them as pretty equal.
I have used both...and since Chevy brought out his new low voltage kernels...I've had incredible stability, great speed and cool temps. I'm pretty sold on his work so far. Just my opinion...
I've only used Chevy's low volts & seems to work for me.
Can anybody please tell me where I can find roms to download? I have just root my phone the other day, so I'm still kind of new to all of this. I just can't seem to find any roms anywhere!! So can someone please help me out!?!?
This is a thread about adamz vs. Chevy kernels, but anyway, what is your phone model?
Model: Motorola Droid
Rom: Chevy's SS 5.4
Kernel: Chevy's 1.1 GHz mv
