I'm just wondering, is there any way to set up an ad-hoc wifi network with a Droid? Could PDAnet do it? I've seen that its possible with other rooted Android devices, is it the same for this?

I was hoping to use Eye-Fi's photo transfer on the fly, since I can't find any other way to move photos from camera to Droid without a PC. There's an app on Market that claims it works, but there's no confirmation on whether it works with ad-hoc devices yet.

I'm wondering as well. Anyone know a way to make the Eye-Fi work with the Droid when no additional wireless AP is available?
