Apologies if this is in the wrong section, it seemed the most suitable place to post it.

I bought a phone about a year ago from Gumtree (first mistake). It's a Galaxy X Cover 3. I planned to use it for a work phone.

From what I've read, as I'm an iOS user, this is called Kiosk mode I believe as when you turn it on, it goes to a MobiControl screen and then straight to a green screen with an old company app, dialler and calculator. That's all that can be accessed.

I then went in to recovery (vol+, home and power) and went to wipe the phone but I got the error "MDM does not allow FactoryReset".

I've looked in to ways to reset this and the majority of people say to go in to the phone settings and enable debugging mode (for nearly all methods I've looked at) yet I'm unable to do that, can literally do nothing!? It's literally:

    Power on
    MobiControl Initialising
Locked screen showing an old company app, dialler & calculator.

That is it. Can't pull down from the top of screen or anything.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

if removing the sims then hard reset did not help, then most likely you will have to flash the firmware.
