Activation Question (New Droid Owner)

Hello, I just recently purchased my Droid Incredible from an online store. I have never had mobile web or data usage on any of my previous plans. My question is, when I recieve my phone and activate it, will I immediately be able to start surfing the web? I know I have to go to the Verizon website to select a data plan, etc. But how long does it take before I can start using all of the Droid features? I just don't want to get my bill next month and find out I have been getting charged a butt load for data usage!! Thanks in advance!

Once you activate the phone, unlimited data is automatically applied to your line so you have nothing to worry about
