Acer just posted on their Facebook Germany page that a faulty component has been found in the device, so shipments have been halted. Due to this, Amazon has also stopped taking pre-orders of the device temporarily. Acer did not give specifics on what the faulty component was, or how long it will take to get it replaced. They did share that there was no need for folks that already received theirs to worry, because those tablets have already passed through their final quality assurance testing.
