-Updated a bunch since OP
I've had this for a while and I like the updates you've made - good work, and keep it up!!
Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App
I'm currently developing this app using a Droid 1
I'd like it to be as compatible with ALL current
Rootable and nand unlocked devices.
But I need your help. If you are rocking a device
Other than the Droid 1 and you have any issues
Email me. I love problem solving so any input
I can gather from you to help solve issues
Not only helps me but helps others like you
With same devices.
It is really important you get ahold of me when
I'm getting too many low reviews on market
and people Just aren't giving me any info
As to what they are doing in the app That results
In FCs or files not installing to system etc....
I've got outta hundreds of downloads maybe
2 emails. And I was able to rectify the problem
Within a couple of hours from email.
Anywho, thanks to those who've purchased
The app&hope everything is working.
And if it isn't, email me!
If the app is working for you
Don't forget to rate/comment on the market
All the craze seems to be Droid X/2 Overclocking, so i'll be adding that for all Droid X and Droid 2 users
Looks great, perfect for new people who aren't able to do these things manually. But regardless still a awesome app just for the sake of saving time and making things easier. Keep up the great work!
I just rooted my phone yesterday so I am still learning all the terms associated with rooting...I know what Busybox is and saw it in the market but what does "NAND Unlocked Device" mean? This program looks great and I would like to check it out!
Hello! NAND unlocked device means you are able to modify /system with the OS booted. Some phones that you can root are only able to modify the system only in recovery.
What device do you have?
Looks like a really cool app. Does your backup/restore keep the app market links?
Thanks for the reply...I have the Droid 1...rooted, installed ROM Manager, SetCPU, AD-Free and a few others...Will that do the trick?
yeah you are good to go!
I'm starting to rethink this idea of backing up the apk's, as they should be downloaded as soon as you sync with google.
I guess the only reason good for the app backup is if you'd want to roll back to a previous version of an app or install an app you paid for on a device not registered to the email you used when buying the app.
Otherwise I think i'm gonna make an option to select individual restores of apps/data, or have it just install data, as google should sync the app.
Anywho, thanks for making me think, but to answer your question
i don't think it'd link to the market, as that'd make it easy to pirate apps if it were possible to restore and setup market links to apps possibly not paid for.
hope i answered you
Well I installed Busybox fine...paid for Absolute Sytem inb the Market and it wouldn't authorize the download? So I uninstalled Busybox...I got a refund on AS
