Shot with my Sony V1U but I use my Droid 2 as the remote microphone!

thanks, Hookbill ...

the way it's been done for decades in making movies :)

1. start camera

2. start sound recorder (I use Hi-Q app)

3. use a clapper board (or snap your fingers) to put a sync point on both cam and recorder

when finished making the video, capture video and sound from recorder into video editing program and SYNC them by aligning the synch points.

add a music soundtrack if you like.

a bit more fiddling to it but those are the basics.

OK, thanks for the response. What I thought was going on was the Droid was somehow "sending" to the camera the sound as you were speaking into it. But this is the same way movies are made, just like you said.
