I have a Samsung Continuum and am fairly new to smart phones.
If I root my phone, and decide I don't want it, or end up having technical difficulties, will I be able to undo rooting it?
Also, once I root it, will I lose my swype keyboard?

Yes, you can always unroot it.

All your apps can be reinstalled after rooting.

As far as swype is concerned, once you root your phone it will actually still be there. The act of rooting your phone doesnt do anything other than give you the special priviledges associated with Superuser access. Once you root your phone its what you do with it that determines whats on it. If you decide to go the route of installing custom roms, it may not be on there, but there are always ways to get it back, such as downloading the beta off of their website.

And for the unrooting question. You can usually unroot your phone. The best thing to do is lots of research first. It is your phone and obviously it voids your warranty so make sure you know how and what to do before you do it, that way if you get to the point where you need to take it back, you will be ready for it.
