If you are dreaming about some Android phones for later this summer, then soon your dreams will come true at Sam's Club. There are a slew of new phones for multiple carriers that are potentially supposed to arrive at the wholesaler within the next few weeks. Here's a breakdown: (Most of these are leaked release dates or hints, so don't hold them as gospel yet)

AT&T -
  • LG Thrill 4G = OMAP4 & 3D Screen (later this month)
  • HTC Status = Social Networking specialized phone (later this month)
T-Mobile -
  • MyTouch 4G Slide = physical keyboard and a photographer's dream camera for a phone, with zero shutter lag and a backside illuminated wide angle lens (July 27th)
Sprint -
  • Samsung Conquer 4G = Entry-level 4G/WiMAX phone with dual cameras & Gingerbread (July 24th)
  • Motorola Droid Photon 4G = Dual-Core, 4G, superphone (end of July or early August)
Verizon -
  • Motorola Droid Bionic = Dual-Core, 4G, superphone (August 4th)
It looks like this will be a hot summer for new Android phones! We can take solace in the fact that we will be inside enjoying cool air-conditioning, while playing with them! ;)

What is the difference between buying a phone at Sams or Best Buys a opposed to a VZW store?

To my knowledge Best Buy doesn't do this but Sams does.

Places like Sams Club, NewEgg, amazon, etc. have their own Terms of service you need to follow. When you buy a phone from them for up to 6 months you cannot switch the phone or make changes to your plan. If you do you have to pay an ETF with them.
