a little help

    ok i need help putting an image into a program. I have worked with java before but not extensively and its been a while since ive use it and im a little rusty. but for starters i made a hello world app, and i want to put a image in after the text. but im not sure how to do this. any helpful advice?

    In your layout XML file you just need to add an image view:

    where YOUR_IMAGE_FILE is a jpg, etc that lives in your project res/drawable directory.

    Exactly as phogel said. Remember that there are many different screen resolution to keep in mind when developing applications that use graphics. Because of this; take advantage of the various drawable folders to maximize performance.
