I'm currently running PE 5.0.2 with a 1GHz RZ Kernel and since Gingerbread is so aggressive on memory management (which is quite frustrating) I've decided to enable compcache to see if that helps before I give up on GB and go back to Froyo.

I believe that I've gone through all of the appropriate steps to enable compcache, but when executing certain commands through terminal emulator, I get some quirky results.

For example, when I run 'cat /proc/ramzswap' the return is 'no such file or directory' - but when compcache is enabled, ins't this file supposed to exist?

Aversely, when I run 'free' the return displays that swap is actively in use.

When I initially enabled compcache, the first line displayed read "init_module 'system/lib/modules/ramxswap.ko' failed (File Exists)"

Have I correctly enabled compcache or am I missing something?
