A diffrent kind of facebook porblem

I know the general consensus is the Facebook app sucks and I agree but it's doing something that i dont think is normal. After installed it makes a entry int he contact folder of my droid for ever friend i have on face book. I do not want this. If this is a feature how do i turn it off?

set it to not sync with contacts

go into the app and settings

Okay but i do want it to snyc up with the contacts i do have, is that possible?

There is a setting for it to sync only with contacts in your phone book.

yea thats what i was referring to its sync with EXISTING contacts

just have to have the name in contacts the same as they have on fbook (good luck with those tools who think having their middle name on fbook is cool)

ohh you posted in droid i didnt see you have the droid x

unfortunately im pretty sure there an "all or nothing" option - either delete it or leave them all on there

i dont know - the fbook app hasnt been updated much since its been around

id try some alternate fbook apps to see how those perform
