First flash and I have to call no-joy. Boot-looped on the M. Since the 1.1GHz ULV kernel is my go-to kernel, I was surprised.

I'm going to try again after making sure my battery is as close to 100% as possible, and redownload it, just to rule out the possibility of a bad flash/file. I'll repost with the results from that.

sorry fur! im running the 1.25 ulv now... runs just as cool and 1700 on my third quadrent (1530 on the first)

interestingly enough in another thread chevy said he only uses the lv not his ulv...do you know what gives?

also did you get the ss? it is simply stunning!

Don't know if this is the case for Chevy's phone or not, but if your phone doesn't agree with the ulow voltage it will work harder and therefore get hotter and drain your battery faster then even the medium voltage would. Just a trial and error thing.

damn! ulv 1.2, my go-to kernel is overheating, as did ulv 1.25. the 1.25 did when i was using gps, and the 1.2 did on the quadrant. trying lv now

update...lv while doing a quadrant test just rebooted out of no where. back to ulv 1.2.

are the old kernels still out there?

Yeah, they're still in the original place. It wouldn't be Chevy quality if he just tossed it out there without testing! :)

In the past I used 1.0ghz low voltage, but downloading the new kernals at the same speed and voltage boot loops. Is this normal?

I'm wondering if I should just stick with the old kernals?

    Edit

Just tried 1.0ghz on med, boot looped. :(

Are these your build chevy? I love your kernels, but I can never run ulv, and maybe a different one would work

CPU/GPU throttling isn't it , and has been around PCs for a long time , nothing new , well maybe to some users .
I have been using CPU/GPU throttling for some 10 to 12 years now and it was around back in the early days , push a button and have a burst of CPU speed , called a "Turbo" button back in the day . :motdroidvert:
Oh and thanks for the Kernels .
