Has anyone figured out a way to get this to work in the more recent froyo builds?

I finally figured out that its actually a kernel issue, p3droid's kernels now work with 802.1x I don't know about other devs kernels.

Thanks for the tip. I tried other kernels and nothing worked. These settings worked on 2.1, but will not work on 2.2
google had to have changed something in Froyo to break the 802.x Wifi. Does anyone have an idea of what was changed?
