I don't know if its just me but the .602 seems faster than .596.

The other thing I just noticed is improved battery life. I used my phone a bit last night, didn't plug it in, and it still has 80% on the battery.

Yes my battery life is way better and my phone feels faster with this update. No reboots so far either. It was the complete opposite with the 596 update.

Yep, have 60% remaining so far on days that would have me running for the charger.

Glad to hear you all are having such great battery life. I have nothing but issues with battery life now that I have up dated to .602 Just over 4 hours to go from 100% to 20% No phone calls, no texting, no surfing the web, no use of phone for anything. Hate this new update.

I would say you have a corrupt download. Are you running stock .602 or TBH rooted .602?

Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm running the TBH rooted .602. IMO rooted is the only way to roll.

I totaly agree with you on the rotted part. The update notification came up on my phone this morning and I screwed up and said OK to doing it before i did any reading on the forums and well I lost my root and have other problems so hopefully i can get it all fixed up this evening.

Ate you familiar with the sbf / root process? If so, sbf back to froyo, root your phone, then download and install the 2 part or the all in one 340-602 update.zip from TBH. I always end up doing the 2 part because my phone hates the AIO versions.

Before you do all of that make sure your apps are backed up using something like titanium backup first so you can easily restore them.

You can simply use the new method of rooting (Droid3).
