What's New - This is an ESE81 2.1 ROM, NOT a FROYO (working on that) - Built From Source :)

    1. 'Home' launcher2 is back, and TAG/ADW now supported
    2. Busybox updated - now 1.16.1
    3. New startup scripts to run/shutdown anything you want at boot time - much work put into this
    4. rstapps/bkapps now backup all settings as well - much work put into this
    5. Camera/Video click is once again silenced by default
    6. TUN now part of kernel, no longer external module
    7. Disabled by default: AlarmClock/CorpCal/Email/Google Goggles/Google Voice/Google Talk/Amazon MP3

    8. Many new scripts. All of my mv* scripts are dual purpose, they can both rename (the default) or delete. Renaming hides it in your app list, but you can get it back later. When you delete, it's gone. Here they are:

    mvac - Alarm Clock
    mvcamclick - Camera Click
    mvcc - Corporate Calendar
    mvch - Car Home
    mvclock - Alarm Clock
    mvdroid - Droid Sound
    mvdt - Dev Tools
    mvem - Email
    mvfb - Facebook
    mvgg - Google Goggles
    mvgt - Google Talk
    mvgv - Google Voice
    mvhl - Helix Launcher
    mvhl2 - Helix Launcher2
    mvl - Launcher/Home
    mvl2 - Launcher2/Launcher
    mvmaps - Google Maps
    mvmp3 - Amazon MP3
    mvqo - Passion Quick Office
    mvsp - Spare Parts
    mvtb - Titanium Backup Free

For example, to rename/hide Corporate Calendar:

    mvcc

Run the same command again and it will magically re-appear

If you know you'll never want to use it and just want it gone, just append -d to the command:

    mvcc -d

    Also these three scripts:

mtop [seconds] - top command (shows top cpu processes), sleeping [seconds] between loops. Default is 3 seconds
psp [seconds] - Persistent ps command, sleeping [seconds] between loops. Default is 3 seconds
klauncher - kill/restart all running launchers (useful after a restore where you want to see refreshed desktop icons)

Also included is a script to change the pulldown and lockscreen text from 'Simply Stunning v3.3' back to 'Verizon Wireless'. This is to support quick compatibility with any apps that need to see Verizon:

    fixpd (Change to Verizon Wireless)
fixpd ss (Change back to default SS text)

The next two scripts will backup and restore your apps to your SD card. NOW backs up settings also!! Type either command with no options to see usage.

    bkapps
    rstapps

    What's Existing

    1. Certain apps (Maps/Pandora) removed - can be downloaded from the market, also as themed versions below
    2. All busybox commands properly linked
    3. Kernels now includes CIFS as external modules
    4. Modified framework to work with PulldownEditor
    5. Nexus LWP will be less intensive on the CPU, which means less heat (cuts cpu usage almost in half; credit to ReverendYo/ChevyNo1)
    6. Including options for different colors on Nexus LWP
    7. Starfield wallpaper is also gone, as it was previously in /system
    8. Now including a /data partition in the nandroid. Now included is the Wifi-Tether app pre13
    9. Nexus LWP's have a darkened background
    10. Facebook/Yahoo/Skype Mobile issues fixed
    11. Predictive text issues fixed - extra keyboard removed
    1. Helix Launcher2 now supported and included along with HL1
    3. Titanium Backup Free is now included - (THANKS to Joel (dev))
    3. New bootanimation (THANKS to Liquidzgrl) - you won't see it if you don't remove any existing bootanimation by wiping or deleting manually
    4. All PNG's optimized and apk's zipaligned
    6. Battery increments in 10% values now, and below 20%, at 5% increments!
    7. New battery icons designed by me - open to suggestions!
    8. 'Normal/Reduced' Haptic feedback compared to previous versions

To Wipe Or Not To Wipe

If you are coming from 2.0.1, you MUST data wipe - if you do not, you WILL have problems. If you are coming from a ROM that was not built from source, it is advisable for you to completely wipe/factory reset.

With this version, I now currently only support the update.zip format. The themed version that you are used to, as well as a non-themed version for those that want to start with the stock look.

The links below holds both themed/non-themed versions, as well as all new kernels:

    Simply Stunning v3.3

    ChevyNo1 Kernels - ULV/LV/MV

If the kernel is a problem, you will get stuck on the 'M' while booting up. Choose a slower kernel in this case.

This build comes with the 1.0Ghz low voltage kernel; you can change that if you wish with the kernels I've also listed. New for kernels: CIFS is an external module now. Also, the format of the kernels is such that now you can flash my kernels into any ROM, retaining the ramdisk you currently have (which can differ by ROM) (thanks to Koush for his anyformat).

Nexus LWP Color Options - update.zip format

    Nexus-Blue.zip
    Nexus-Green.zip
    Nexus-Original.zip
    Nexus-Red.zip
    Nexus-Yellow.zip

    update.zip format Installation Instructions:

-It is strongly suggested to nandroid-backup your current ROM before doing anything!
-Place the update.zip file into the root of your sdcard (RENAME to update.zip)
    -Reboot into recovery mode
    -Choose install
    -Choose allow update.zip Installation
    -Choose Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)
    -Done!

    Base:

    ESE81

    What's Inside the Box:

-Overclocked Kernel with seven slots allows clocking of 250-1000 MHz in mixed steps (credit to ChevyNo1)
    - Supports TempMonitor
    - The base 1.0G kernel has NO voltage increase over stock
    - These kernels ALSO include the STOCK 550Mhz slot, and the kernels DEFAULT to that speed, until you use an app like SetCPU.

    - Corporate Calendar
    -2.1 Desk Clock
    -2.1 Keyboard with voice input
    -2.1 Gallery 3D, MultiTouch
-2.1 Music App (white notification text thanks to mjones)
-2.1 Glassed News and Weather App
-2.1 Optimized Live Wallpapers (less CPU usage = less heat)
-HQ YouTube Default Tweak (credit to xeudoxus)
-HQ Video Recording Tweak (credit to Fede)
-Version Information In Settings > About Phone
    -Disabled OTA Updates
-Disabled default ring delay of 3 seconds
-*Battery Saver* Wifi Scans Increased to 30 seconds
-Version Information In Settings > About Phone
-Completely Deodexed System (meaning easily customizable)
    -SuperUser App
    -Flash Image
    -Busybox

-Added commands sysrw/sysro for mounting /system read/write or readonly. Also note that sysro remounts read only AND performs the sync for you

-Added new Linux commands that I sorely missed:

    more
    head
    tail
    which
    cp
    grep
    find
    awk
    sed
    less
    wc

Cleaned/linked the following commands which unnecessarily eat up 10MB of /system:

    ash
    chmod
    clear
    cp
    dd
    ifconfig
    kill
    printenv
    traceroute
    unzip
    vconfig
    vi
    who
    whoami

    Theme:

-Smoked Glass Blue (credit to AdamZ modified by me)
-Added custom status bar icons (credit to blake2050@droidforums)
-Progress bars changed to match blue theme
-Clear push-icons on desktop (credit to ReverendYo - skinned from Alldroid community ROM)
    -White Clock (credit to Ohsaka)

    Recommended Apps:

SetCPU - not included as it is a paid Market app

    Bugs:

-Sometimes the auto-brightness does not work if your phone has just rebooted. Simply pressing the power button twice will fix it.
-In the pulldown, the Market information is still black, making it hard to read - working on this

    Disclaimer:

This is an overclock ROM, therefore if you're not careful, you'll do damage. I am not responsible for any such damage, you use this of your own free will.

Enjoy, and feedback is always welcome - bugs included

    awesomesauce.

    3 Qs:
    1. do the new backup scripts do a better job than titanium?
    2. how much lower are these ULV kernels?
    3. with ADW support, does that mean its cache won't get flushed from memory while it's the default launcher?

Thanks much, chevy! Hope you're having fun with froyo :)

    1. Unless I'm missing something, the free version of TB I've included prompts you for each app to restore. My scripts restore 128 of my apps + data in 3 minutes flat, with no intervention. In that sense, I really like them :)

    2. Lower than LV for example? Significantly

    3. Only supported in the sense of the framework - there were others that stated it wouldn't even run.

Having fun so far with it!

One question, I just flashed the phone, and now I can not obtain a 3g signal. It has the updated .03P baseband...but it's stuck on 1X. Anything I've done wrong? Or can fix?

Hey Chevy, regarding the pulldown, when things are downloading, JRummy posted some metamorph XML fix that changes the text to white which makes it very visible. It might be in the 3.1 thread, I can't really remember.
And regarding the keyboard, did you happen to change the key presses to blue? When you press a key how it turns gray in 3.2 but it used to be blue. Let me know.:)
