Gahh. Sounds annoying.

Anyways, I'm working on a new zip now, it has newer RIL libraries so hopefully that will bring us some GSM stability. Also using a new camera wrapper that allows us to use the on-screen zoom features on the camera. I'll probably post it tonight if everything looks good

Did you find anything in my log?

Thanks! Sounds great! Looking forward to the new build!!

Will the new build have the tethering function as well??
I really hope it can at least have the USB tethering capability!!

Thanks!

I'm gonna upload the newest build. I made a few modifications to libraries but I cannot test to see if data *actually* works because I don't have service on the Pro anymore. I can see that I have voice but that's all. Hopefully makes GSM stable. I also took some source from the Droid 2 on the official CyanogenMod repo that wraps our camera which allows us to use the on-screen zoom for the camera app

Okay I added it! It's in the OP, please report your findings with the radio ASAP! Wipe the system and cache (not data unless this is your first time installing) and remember to reflash gapps since you wiped the system!

Only sync is not so good...

Really, ICS roms are good... But not for daily use...

This one it is really the best!
Thank you jack!

Seems that in 2g, I have again a sync issue, in 3g no...
Anyone?
Again... I'm trying to change gapps...
I've downloaded 20110828, before I've tried with 20110613...
I've wiped system, data and my house...

It is the same.... :-(
Also in 3g...

The data sync and connection are so far working great on my Droid pro.
I don't experience the problem mentioned by u.
I didn't try 2g yet as my reception is good enough to keep me in 3g all day long.

Again, Thanks Jack for ur hard work!
I am very happy with this built !! Love it!

Sorry Detto. I'm running out of options :-(

Always Thank you!
I'll try in the next days! But the strange thing is that I have always internet connection, without any issue... Only synchronization....
I can try with k9 mail and see if it is only google apps related...
Or with tasker I can do a new rule with autosync...
I think that I'll try today....
My English is very bad, but in my mind this post is very clear! I'm sorry.... :)

1) Edit:The data is always ok! But autosync goes away (not the icon, but the service)... With k9mail (with the same account) in backgroud I can have better autosync.... Now I'm uninstalling k9, rebooting and try again...

2) edit: with K9 the autosync is better... I've done a new rule with tasker: every 2 minuets set autosync off, and then on...
With this rule the autosync is ok! But the battery drain is very fast...

What do you think?

Another thing you can do is try

adb logcat -b radio

(just radio)

I'll do it...! if I'll use alogcat with this settings Level- Verbose, Format - Brief, , Buffer -radio, is the same?

And so, do you think that is "only" a radio issue..?

You must rename into .txt
Is very long! In the last lines I've had this issue....

Thank you!
Thank you!

@jackpot
thanks for the awsome rom :)

i'm gsm user and a small problem in the 6-6 release i've
experienced on my phone is if i do factory reset after installing
the zip is that the phone volume is VERY low ... evean at max
... i can barely hear the caller / called ... however if i don't
wipe the phone after coming from the 6-3 release everything
is perfect.

another problem was that i can't get the zip to work
without formatting /system before i install the 6-6 zip.
if i don't format /system it still shows me the 6-3 release ...
maybe some issue in the updater-script or with my phone.

and last but not least a minor request for one of the next
releases ... is it possible to get the sidekey where usually the
calendar is located back to work ?? it doesn't show up in the
shortcut setup in the apps settings.

Alogcat prevents sleep mode, so makes this pointless. Interestingly, keeping alogcat running stopped the gsm data issue, probably by preventing sleep mode. So I think you have your answer in a way.
