THIS IS ONLY USABLE BY OWNERS WITH DROID 4's on 6.16.206 LEAK ONLY

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU ARE ON ANYTHING ELSE

Here is the link to downloading the 6.16.208 kernel:

https://www.box.com/s/0b8f9590b2611ae748c6

USE THE EXACT SAME PROCEDURE AS STATED IN THE GET UNSTUCK THREAD!!!

However before using the unstickICS tool, replace the boot206 image with this image and rename it to boot206. DONT PUT .img ON THE END OF IT!
IT will work the same as long as you do it as ive told you.

You're welcome!

Credit to mattlgroff for helping me in getting the kernel complete.

Dumb question alert:

What is the benefit of installing this if you are on .206?

Thanks

Any way to keep root if we do this?

You will lose root if you do this. No way to keep it since you are basically fastbooting to. 219 then flashing the. 208 boot image before updating.

Especially since you'll lose root, what are the differences between .206 and .208? Are there really enough changes for it to be worth updating?¿

You lost me at "lose root."

I absolutely need that right now.

The instructions say root, protect root, temp unroot, then restore root.

That will only work if you are coming from stock. 219 to the latest. 208 ics leak. If you have to re-flash the kernel to go from. 206 to. 208 you will lose root. As rsd will wipe out your root and the backup made by voodoo. Personally I am sticking with. 206 to maintain root and due to it being nearly perfect.

I thought he was coming from 219 because the Unstick instructions don't mention anything about root/unroot etc.

And yes, going from one leak to another you will lose root and it cannot be regained until the ICS root method is released.
