Got it! Flashed recovery a couple times and now it works.
Not a good feeling to be without recovery.
So it just took you several times trying to boot into recovery until it worked? I was going to flash this rom but hearing your story kind of scared me away from it lol. I don't want to be without recovery, but I just want to hear how you got it back.
please fix your server
:icon_ poke: Jrummy your roms are awesome but you need to work on that server you got running there. its down once again getting the same 404 error. so yea fix it please or at least post up a mirror with the files. i was in the middle of downloading my rom your server went down. good thing i didn't try to flash my rom lol.
+1 to canvs2321 - the GUI frontend is plain, simple and best of all....
WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!
Just downloaded and flashed my device. Great Work. Can not wait to try this out!
after all the probs i had last night.. i figured out that i HAD to swipe first lol. coming from 2.1.. now, running smoothh, thanks jrummy
how are people doing with battery life? i relly like this rom, its snappy, but it seems to be killing my battery
i feel like the battery drains the same as it used to before i upgraded to this ROM
that worked..but now after i do the setup within 1 minute the phone locks up completely and wont respond. i have to pull the battery and restart. I tried both chevys 1.o low volt & p3 800mhz kernel.
OMG! JRummy should add this link to the first post!
I would try just leaving your phone sit for 30 min after it boots up. I know after installing froyo rom, within the first 30 min to 45 min it runs verrry slow due to the phone syncing. Maybe with you operating it while it's trying to sync everything is causing it to freeze up. Also, which way did you install this rom? Rom manager or did you put it on your sdcard?
I'm coming from petes and using p3s kernal. My problem with petes was that nomatter what kernal once the phone hit 40% battery it went to 5% in 3 mins.
