    first...

    go to settings >
    applications >
    manage applications >
select each application and see what your able to move to the sdcard.

Keep important apps on your phone that you use daily (for better performace)

This will clear up a ton of space.

    second....

go to the market and download cache cleaner (free)
do this weekly or every other day depending on how much you
    use your phone.

if these two things dont help than you have toooo many apps on your phone.

    No memory - Droid Incredible

I am having the same problem. I am trying to put a new ROM on my rooted droid incredible and it is telling me there is no space. I've tried hard resets, deleting apps to no avail. When I plug the phone into the computer and remove files the amount of spaced used does not change (there should be more space available when you delete things..). Even weirder, I've taken files off of the phone and then try to place the same exact file back on and it claims there is no space? Anyone out there with any ideas or have ever had this problem?? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

For example, when i try to download a ROM from rom manager the download will start and quickly stop and say "ROM download Error: No space left on device." When I check my phones memory it sure enough shows it as full. When i delete files they disappear and the memory stays the same. I rooted my phone a few weeks ago and have had a few other ROMS on there with no problem and suddenly the other day I started to have this issue. Currently I'm not running a custom ROM.

What is free space on your SD card? That's where RM puts stuff ... if that has plenty of space - you'll have to check with Koush (dev of RM)
