Way ahead of u, I delete those suckers before I use any rom. I also use advanced task killer pro to kill my background apps all the time.

Did the people who arent having the problem wipe before install? Just an idea

hmm...I initially did not wipe, but had problems unrelated to battery life, so I wiped and reinstalled, and my battery life seems fine...

All of you having battery issues - have you also had 'location fix' issues, ie google.com can't get your location, news/weather widget can't? If so - I suspect that app may have been constantly searching for a location ... if not then it must be something else.

Glad you mentioned this...I'm having the location problem...Maps/Navigation is fine, but google.com and New/Weather cannot...it's not hurting my battery though...I left my phone unplugged from 2AM until 14:00 today, and with Web usage and etc. it only reached 50% at around 13:30...

so is there a fix for this location problem?

Thanks! I hope you don't get tired of being told how awesome you are! No lie, your work is THE BEST! and whenever some problem arises, you are quick to fix it...can't beat that! is there a vote for best Dev?

    On a side-note:
I love it that your updates tell me what it is they're updating when I run them...it's cool to see when I run it that it's updating the Location, or that I'm installing whatever specific kernel I'm installing etc, rather than just "Installing update... Update done!" dancedroid

LOL, I don't think I'm tired of hearing that yet!! I do pride myself on getting back to my users quickly, when any issues arise - if I can't bring 'em in with colors, I'll bring 'em in with support ;)

If you came from a non-source ROM prior to 4.3, and you did not wipe - that very likely could be the root of your issues. Going from a non-source ROM to a source built ROM (even if they are both mine) without wiping is asking to have issues ... let me know if you wipe and it helps!
