I've always wondered why they chose 1969 as the date.
Cause that's when USA landed on the moon:hail:
Lol!! Works for me. :icon_ lala:
Downloading the update now with normal framework method for the first try of the morning.
Unix's time starts at midnight on Jan 1 1970 UTC. It is counted in seconds, so 1 would have been midnight Jan 1 1970. 1363963859 <-- that is roughly the current time via Unix Epoch.
When something goes wrong, like a 0 is returned...then you get Dec 31 1969 as it would be prior to Jan 1 1970.

Nothing yet for my GN, strange that the Verizon site says coming soon still. Usually when its rolling out the update page says "Get the most out of...."
Software Update: Galaxy Nexus by Samsung - Coming Soon! | Verizon Wireless

So I flashed back to stock unrooted, and locked my phone up, then tried to see if the Verizon update was worth it over the Carbon ROM...yeah, nothing happening. Didn't update, and I don't want the bloatware. Anyone see why going with the official Verizon update is worth it? I do t feel like it would be, but maybe I'm missing something.
