Sweetness lol...so to flash do you need to relock too? Or is it just go back to stock unrooted?

You can be stock rooted and flash. You don't need to lock the bootloader.

Glad to see someone put the OTA up for download. However, I'm not going to unroot and flash it. Hope the stock owners see some improvement with their devices.

You don't have to. Flash 4.0.2 Radios and download this patch from Rootz.

Official 4.0.4 Update file! - Galaxy Nexus - RootzWiki

Recovery, flash radios, reboot into recovery, flash patch.

If your drain is coming from low signal, then possibly. Otherwise, likely not. This update is basically a new CDMA radio and an LTE patch.

4.0.4 includes the fix for the Android OS battery drain that people saw with 4.0.2 so I would say that it is a very good chance that this update will improve battery life. I know when I flashed the unrooted stock IMM30B OTA back in February it dramatically helped my battery life. I expect the same with this new IMM76K build, especially when comparing it to 4.0.2.

Thanks for posting that. I do still have the stock ROM backed up, but don't feel it's worth my time to flash it. I know I'll just end up restoring back to AOKP:D

This is my first time rooting and flashing.. still excited to see what this phone can do. I refuse to flash back to stock( unless I have to for insurance purposes). Can't I just wait til someone creates a Rom with the latest radios?? I mean what's the point of returning to stock?

That's what I'm waiting for. I don't necessarily need it, but then again I thought I didn't need the original 4.0.4 radios leak, turns out I get better signals. I'll just wait a bit.
