3g problems, for droid 2

maybe im just a big squidward but when i first activated my i was able to access the internet and the 3g logo would be at the top, but now i can only access the internet with wifi, im in the 3g zone, ive restarted my phone, and ive called *228, pressed 1 and 2 but those can never be completed... please help

Try doing a factory reset. yes this will remove anything/everything on your phone (sdcard is safe) but it will Force your phone to be reactivated and hence may fix your 3g problem. let me know what happens.
