I heard this happens... There's a forum post dedicated to this already...they say it's got to do with the class..

Yep. Class 10 cards can definitely cause some lag problems.

So should I look for a smaller sd card? Seems like I got some bugs in this phone that I can't get out. One big, positive is the battery life, i'm working on 20hrs since last charge.

16 gb are okay... They're class 8 they're fine. Just make sure it's official... Sometimes, our dear friends from the far east do their job to well... For example, hacking the bios of a flash card to report a bigger capacity than what can be used a two gb reports 16 gb, then when your phone tries to write the information on your card to it loses the information...
