Just tried each of those with identical results. All had the same BP Pass through error. No, I haven't tried pushing anything via ADB.

Ok, I'm off now this time for real. Thanks again.

I'm thinking you have a hardware fault in the phone, and a major one, but we'll try everything we can. Sleep well and start reading up on ADB commands tomorrow as soon as you get a chance!

A hardware fault could be to blame. This all started after the phone was dropped. Physically, it's fine, but who knew a physical fall could permanently damage software?!

I've got the drivers installed, adb set to go. It only shows up in "adb devices" after I flash it to SPRecovery and boot into that. It doesn't show up when it's on the bootloader screen. Any suggestions for next steps? I can get into the shell, but suspect this is just the recovery image I'm seeing:

$ adb shell
/ # ls
block_update etc lib sbin
cache init proc sdcard
data init.goldfish.rc recovery.version sys
default.prop init.rc res system
dev init.sholes.rc root tmp

I have NO experience with ADB. :)

I'll go see if I can get someone to point you in the right direction, but I'm still thinking it's a hardware fault. Maybe the fall jarred something loose. Good luck and I'll keep an eye out for anything that might be useful.

I'll keep digging some more via adb. My last resort will be to physically open it up on the off-chance I'll be able to spot anything disconnected or broken.
