OK, so I have never messed with any of this before.

Be gentle because I am a noob at this...

I have the original Droid I bought in January, haven't done a thing to it except the OTA stuff that came in....

How do I go about getting this gold theme on my phone..

Pretend I am in kindergarten and if possible give it to me step by step.. Even the simple steps as I have no clue and don't want to brick my phone, I need it too much every day to brick it....

Abby - the fiest thing you need to do is root your phone. You can do that (with extremely detailed instructions) by looking for a thread called Root regardless of OS made by MotoCache1.

Once that's done, you need to install a ROM. If you want Gold, right now your choices are UD or BB. That's Ultimate Droid or Bugless Beast.

Then you can install the theme.

Once you are rooted, report back and we will work on step 2.
