Just curious if there is anything in the works for the ability to update this ROM to allow programming to towers, and updating roaming capability.

I could see this being an issue if I travel..not being able to program my phone to the verizon towers in that area.

Is this something that will possibly be available in the future?

Any word on this yet? I just learned that updating the towers also helps with navigation and maps....I had to switch to an old BB rom to update GPS for traveling in Texas.

so using *228+ instead of *228 doesn't do what you want it to do?

Press & hold down the 0 and it should pop up as a plus (+) sign and it will allow you to use *228 for the programming:)
