You have voted, and 2017's phone of the year is the Note 8. With one of the best screens on the market, S-Pen, 6 gigs of RAM, expandable storage, a headphone jack (something that is now worth mentioning), and one of the leading cameras in the market, Samsung bounced back beautifully when some began to question last year if Samsung would continue the Note line.

2nd place: Google Pixel 2XL: This phone is straight up awesome. Voted the best camera on a smartphone for 2017 by numerous publications, Google did it again. Swift updates, great battery life, best pure android software you can get on a phone, and could have easily taken the #1 spot had the display not gotten a lot of flack upon release. Despite the bumpy start this phone has proven Google and the Pixel is looking to compete with the other flagship phones in the market.

3rd place: Razer phone: Razer really did an awesome job for its first android phone on the market. Had they released it a little earlier I am thinking they would have gotten more love. Despite that they managed to show other manufacturers how to make a phone smooth with their 120hz refresh rate and the 4000mAh battery to go with it. I look forward to seeing their sophomore phone as I expect they will make sure to put a better camera in it.

I agree, the Note 8 is the best phone by far. It is just the right size with lots of power and the screen is simple incredible.

Disagree. I don't want a phone that big.
The right size? Yea... if you're 80! :p

It is amazing the number of writers, reviewers, bloggers, and just normal every day users said the same thing when the original note was released. Most of them changed their minds real quick.

as I said in another thread, the only thing I wished about the note 8 is it should have been a bit wider. otherwise, the phone is perfect for me.

But it's only 1/2 inch bigger than your turbo 2.

    Well I haven't physically held the 8 but whenever I see someone with a 4 or 5 I'm always like "that's hUUUge!".

(I'm on the Z2 Force now)

    moto z2 force
    76 x 155.8 x 6.1 mm

    note 8
    74.8 x 162.5 x 8.6 mm

got the above from their respected websites. moto is wider but note 8 is longer and thicker so...

    ...yes way :p
