2 sounds when i get a text? can someone help me fix this?

it only happens when i recieve text messages. My notification sound will play and half way through it the "DROID" sounds cuts it off. how do i fix this?

If you have handcent or another messaging app in addition to the stock MMS program, you have to disable the notifications in whichever program you dont want to use.

In other words, if you want to use handcent, go into the stock messaging app and disable automatic retrieval and notifications.
