2 car docks and only one is recognized

Has anyone had one of these things go bad? 2 phones and 2 docks.. one of the docks is not recognized by either phone. both phones work fine on the other dock.

support dude told me i had warranty so i'll be takin it back..

anyone have similiar issues?

Yes. My first OEM Motorola Vehicle Navigation Dock had an extremely hard time recognizing my phone. I got a warranty replacement. The new one is still not 100% better. About 3 out of every 4 times it will recognize and launch SmartMode.
