2.2 texting limit issue

i recently updated my droid x from 2.1 to 2.2 and i realized that there's a text limit per conversation? is there a way to make it unlimited again? or maybe an app that will save ALL my messages so i could read them again. i looked for sms backup but there's a couple and i don't know which one to pick. android 2.2 really should have it unlimited.....

i mean handcent will let u have as many as u want but itll start to bog down the app after a while. i delete all mine after a few weeks

then theres no way to change the limit.

u can try SMS Backup or SMS Backup & Restore to store them
