2.2 on m860?

i recently bought an ascend (m860) from cricket and it came with 2.1. a friend told me a couple weeks ago that 2.2 would be released for our m860's on jan 12th. i have searched far and wide for info about the 2.2 release for my android phone.

does anyone know when the 2.2 update will be available?

Well thay said thay have it alredy but thay say its 2.1.1 so I dont really know the truth
