So we now have froyo for the nexus one. How easy would it be to extract the flash component and release for the Droid while we wait for another AWESOME rom from Chevy?

Porting the 2.2 ROM currently available isn't really possible. The N1 runs on an entirely different network and that will mean modifying or substantial parts of the kernel/OS to support CDMA. It could take time, or might not even be possible if the source for froyo isn't out yet.

Source for Froyo is not out yet but I've heard it is slowly on its way how. someone did a repo sync yesterday off one of the custom ROMs and there was new info that popped up about the voice dialing over BT stack showing up now that is suppose t obe part of Froyo.
