hey guys. ive heard the new FRG83G update is ota now and is coming to the droid. I personally havent gotten it yet, but if i do get it (or anyone else for that matter) do we just let it do its thing?

im on PEv5.0.2, so will i still get it? or not since my AOSP is gingerbread?

lets hope mojo or actngrezy sees this!

If you used clockwork or SPRecovery you accept the update and it should block it.

If it doesn't it will remove root and install. But that's what suppose to happen.

Yes I'm more certain of SPRecovery then I am about Clockwork. Just accept it and it will quit bugging you.

Hook, what if your using RZRecovery? I don't want to lose root. I'm running PEv5.0.2.

    Thanks in advance!

Rzr is essentially just a modified version of spr so it should block it just the same.

They won't be doing any more major updates (to gingerbread) but that doesn't mean they will stop sending out updates for critical bugs (the messaging problem that Google just recently fixed). It is actually really nice to see that even though they moved the D1 into EOL so early, Motorola is still willing to support it with bug fixes. They could have just abandoned it.
