Thanks! Let me know if you have any issues.
help understanding rom vs image vs sbf
For me sbf files are the easiest, are there any of chevy's stuff in a complete sbf?
what firmware do i need? and frankly nandroid is it software on my phone? i have read 3 how to's and im still lost
I do not have any of my stuff in an sbf file ... I assume you are rooted and have SPRecovery on your phone? If so, nandroid is already there ... let me know
thanks for the response chevy
i installed the first release of 2.1, the version that isnt rootable. So i'm going back to factory..... then i'm not sure where to go to get your stuff as i think the last verizon version was 2.0.3...
The last verizon update was 2.0.1 - so if you go back to factory, you will then need to follow the rooting guides which will also give you sprecovery/nandroid. At that point you are ready to load my ROM. Let me know when you are to that point. I believe rootyourdroid.info has some great info!
restored to 2.01 apllied root update.zip, could see the little ninja
then went to apply your simply stunning update.zip and i receive a signature error..
You have to do a Nandroid "restore" to go from 2.01 Rom to a 2.1 Rom. You can then do the "update.zip" to update to later versions of the 2.1 Rom images..
thanks i'll try to figure that out...
and just hold off on the nandroid - will be releasing SS 2.2 soon, that is the one you will want to nandroid restore ...
i was on a mission...... i finally got it installed..... thank you for responding.... very impressive!!!!
i assume you have a paypal link in your profile?
Awesome, glad you got it installed! I do have a link in my sig if you do feel so inclined
So, basically you're telling me to wait a week or so, so I don't have to flash my Droid twice in such short order? Okay, I'll hold off for now, looking forward to what you've got in store.
