Why don't those of you complaining about not having 2.1 simply install the leaked 2.1 ERE25 ROM from the video?

It does not require root, in fact you lose root if you install it. I have been using it for over a week now, and it works fantastic. Incredible battery life, fast for not being over clocked, and much more stable than any user ROM I have tried.

Got my curiosity up. Link? Or I can search.

Jeremy, you got my attention. Where can we find it (that does not require root)?

I think what I would like to know is if "expected to roll out soon" is sooner than "planned for Q1" since Q1 ends in a couple of weeks. I mean seriously, I am ok with the wait I just want to set my expectations correctly.

Re: [Release] Droid 2.1 ESE53 SBF file

Use this guide to install:
Unroot/Unbrick your phone using .sbf

If you do this method, does it make you unable to recieve the official OTA 2.1 update?

Don't know. You can always return to 2.0.1 if need be.
Actually, if you continue to read through the 1st part of that forum.....you CAN'T return to 2.01....
