i noticed that as well????
I heard that Flash 10 was gonna roll out Jan 22, sometime after 12 noon EST, but only if you already had Android 2.1.
Well it used to say it was coming so since adobe detects 2.1 probably now we just have to wait for the update I'm hoping.
Absolutely no reason not to be. Just liked your comment.
God I hate to even mention this because its flimsy and it will just fuel the hype but here it goes.
I have a buddy that works for Verizon that told me the DROID will get 2.1 and Flash in the same update. I don't know what this means for a time table but from the sounds of it (based on other sites and rumors), I wouldn't bother even thinking of either until March.
I know, I was being rhetorical and sarcastic.
Nope I still get the same message saying it isn't supported but I still have 2.0.1 so not sure the story on that one.:icon_evil:
Here's my summary of the Android 2.1 OTA Update threads...
I will parade ignorance, why is everyone so keen on getting Flash?
Don't throw things at me. I am genuinely curious. One of the things I have liked about the ipod touch is that I am not exposed to horribly conceived Flash sites and advertisements.
This is from Motorola twitter:
"Guys, we're sorry; we know you are excited about 2.1 updates to your Moto Android-based products, but we can't comment on official timing."
" We promise to update you as soon as we can!"
These were both posted around an hour ago.
Pr0n, Pr0n my good man!!
Seriously though...video sites, flash based games, and yes...even the adverts in flash. But I suspect some inventive hacker will adapt a FlashBlock type extension for the default browser or dolphin browser.
Because almost all video that is not youtube is flash?
